Canola running on Mamona

Mamona now is runninng Canola. :)

A lot of dependencies were necessary, it was a really heavy packaging and dependencies tracking work.

All of the offline features are working very well. The performance is below expected yet :( I’m trying to figure out why… Further I’ll post the results. Actually just the launch and first clicks are slow… after some time Canola start to work smoothly. See in the video below the test of some features of Canola on Mamona.

The long startuptime could be a side effect of not using thumb mode anywhere in the system.

The reason of the slowness is because you’re running an outdated version of canola. Try the latest version and you’ll see the improvements in launch time and first click.

Etrunko, the problem is not the slowness of Canola startup itself, the problem is that the same version of Canola launch faster in Maemo than Mamona. Until now…

Where are the patches? :-) You made a system/mamona.py backend?
